DAY 1: Saturday-Monday) Rome/Assisi/Siena Florence
We depart for Assisi, this Little Medieval City. During our visit to the
Famous San Francesco's Basilica we will find GIOTTO's and CIMABUE'S Masterpieces. After lunch, (not included), we drive via the "Autostrada del Sole" for Siena, a gothic city constructed on three hills in the heart of Tuscany. This city is encircled by its ancient walls and is famous
for its square "Piazza del Campo", designed in the shape of a shell . See also the elegant Palace and the Cathedral. In the afternoon proceed on to
Florence. Dinner and Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 2: (Sunday-Tuesday) Florence (Pisa optional)
After breakfast we visit the Dome by Brunelleschi, the Bell tower by Giotto and the Baptistery. We continue through Piazza de la Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and the church of Santa Croce. In the afternoon we recommend an optional excursion to Pisa to see the famous Piazza del Campo, known as the "Square of Miracles" where we find the Cathedral, the Leaning
Tower, (a Romanic bell tower of 58mt) and the Baptistery. Dinner and Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 3: (Monday-Wednesday) Florence/Padua/Venice
Morning at leisure. Possibility to make an optional visit of Florence's museums. In the afternoon departure to Padua for a short visit of the
Basilica of St. Anthony. Continue to Venice, the city of
"gondolas". Dinner and Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 4: (Tuesday-Thursday) Venice
After breakfast visit of this mysterious city built on
177 islands, 150 canals and 400 bridges. The sightseeing
includes the panoramic of St. Mark's square and
the Doge's Palace (external). We will also stop in one of the famous shops of Murano glass. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 5: (Wednesday-Friday) Venice / San Marino / Rome
After breakfast depart for San Marino one of the smaller states in the world with its own currency, stamps and preserves its political system over nine centuries. After lunch, (not included), depart for Rome and arrive, in the afternoon, to the Eternal City.
