5 DAY NILE CRUISE, (Sailing Every Monday)

Day 3: Cairo-Luxor/Embarkation
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Arrive at the Luxor airport and transfer to the ship. After lunch the visit includes the Avenue of the Sphinxes, the Temple of Luxor and the Karnak Temple-Complex. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor-Cruising/Esna/Edfu
The morning visit includes the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut,
(at Deir el Bahari) and the 70 feet tall Colossi of Memnon. The ship sails to Edfu after crossing the Esna “lock”.
Dinner and overnight in Edfu.

Day 5: Edfu-Cruising/Kom-Ombo/Aswan
In the morning visit the Temple of Horus, the best preserved of all the large Temples. Return to the ship sailing to Kom-Ombo to visit the Kom-Ombo Temple, (Greco-Roman). Sail to Aswan fir dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Aswan
The morning visit includes the Aswan High Dam and the unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut. In the afternoon you sail on a typical Egyptian “felucca” passing Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Garden and the Aga Khan Mausoleum. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Aswan-Disembarkation/Cairo
In the morning disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrive at the Cairo airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (Optional visit to Abu Simbel Temple, by plane, is highly recommended).

Day 8: Cairo-Departure
After breakfast transfer to the airport.
